Hungária Yacht Klub - 17th Hungária Yacht Club Cup, 10-11 May 2026.
Policy
- The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
- In accordance with RRS 87, Class Rule 13.30 of the Dragon Class (crew weight limitation) shall not apply.
- The Sailing Instructions will consist of the Standard Sailing Instructions of Appendix S of the RRS and supplementary instructions, which will be available on the offi cial notice board at www.mvszhirdetotabla.hu
- Race regulations of the Hungarian Sailing Federation (HYPERLINK „http://www.hunsail.hu”www.hunsail.hu) apply.
- Optimist and Dragon Class rules apply. (DP)

- Registration: 9 May 2026, between 16:00 and 20:00.

- Number of races scheduled: 6. No limit on the number of races per day
- The scheduled time of the first warning signal is 09:55 on 10 May 2026.
Sanctions
- In the Dragon class, RRS 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by a One-Turn Penalty.
- Appendix P, Special Procedures for Rule 42, will apply.
- When the Jury observes an infringement by one or more boats on the water, it will signal this by displaying a “B” flag accompanied by a sound signal. This means that if no boat takes a penalty, the Jury may protest the boat(s) concerned.
Evaluation
- One race is required to be completed to constitute a series.
- (a) When 1-3 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
- (b) When more than 4 races have been completed a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
Entry forms
- The regatta is open to all boats of the Dragon and Optimist classes.
- Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry form (for keelboats and dinghies), available on the website of the Hungarian Sailing Federation (MVSZ), and by paying the entry fee. The entry fee shall be paid by bank transfer to Hungária Yacht Kft., account number BBRT 10102086-47499800-01000000 (please indicate “entry fee” in the reference), or in person at registration at the HYC premises (Balatonfüred, Zákonyi F. u. 6.).

Order of finish: 420, Optimist
In case of a general recall, the order of the draw will not change. If wind conditions permit, the Race Committee will start the races of a class after the last boat in the class has crossed the finish line, without waiting for the other classes to cross the finish line, and not necessarily in the original order.
